Children Inherit Spinal Weakness
Many characteristics are inherited from parents. Usually we think of such things as fair or dark skin tones, blue or brown eyes, and the color of the hair, the shape of a chin or nose. What about physical characteristics? They inherit weaknesses that result in allergies, stomach problems, arthritis, headaches and spinal abnormalities i.e. scoliosis.
It is impossible to prevent passing on certain weaknesses to our children. It is possible to prevent many of the problems arising from Spinal Weakness by an emphasis on prevention of spinal problems. By elimination or reduction of pressure on spinal nerves, this can reduce or eliminate numerous spinal health problems.
Early prevention can detect scoliosis and deal with spinal problems that result in colic, excess crying and gas. Small misalignments brought about by a fall can be located and corrected before it has time to cause major problems i.e. pain, allergies or headaches. As the child grows, checking for and correction of developing scoliosis and/or short leg can have a great effect on your child’s future health.
Developing a healthy normal, well-balanced spine assures your child the opportunity of vibrant health as a child, youth and adult. Call today to schedule an appointment for your child's complimentary spinal check.
IF YOU HAVE HAD PAIN this summer during certain activities or have avoided some activities, perhaps it's time to get it checked. It is the last quarter of the year and you deductible has most likely been met. It would be very cost effective to get checked out now!
