Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or CTS, is one common ailment that often gets misdiagnosed. Symptoms include tingling and numbness in the hand, fingers and wrist, and pain so intense that it may wake you at night.
When you visit your medical doctor with hand and wrist symptoms, very often they will only look at your hand and wrist. It's easy to think that the problem is where you're feeling the pain. That is one reason to seek out a great chiropractor- to figure out what the problem is, and where the pain is originating in your body.
Whenever there's a problem, Dr. Seaman always looks for misalignments in any joint that prevents the body from functioning well or healing. Pain associated with CTS can often come from the nerves in the neck. Therefore, the nerves in your neck and upper back should always be checked for interference caused by subluxations.
Subluxations are distortions in body structure. They can be caused by injuries such as falls, sports mishaps, car accidents, emotional stress, fatigue and sleeping in an awkward position. Even birth stress could cause subluxations that can affect the arms, shoulders and hands.
Dr. Seaman has had great success with wrist and neck related issues. She is specially trained to locate and correct subluxations. Unless corrected, subluxations in your body can cause or contribute to many health conditions and prevent or interfere with the normal healing process.
After Dr. Seaman has located your subluxations she will "adjust" or correct them. This will release structural and nerve pressure and help restore the healthy flow of nerve impulses between your brain and your body parts and help rebalance your system.
